Kensington
Park Hotel
San
Francisco Review

Bill
writes in January 2002, "We chose
the Kensington Park Hotel from the list. It was nice, and
we'd stay there again. We booked online, and was quoted
$111 per night, including all taxes. But we found out that
they charge you an extra $3 electricity surcharge per night over
and above the $111. Also, their valet parking is $22 per night,
which is one of the more reasonable rates in the area."
The Kensington
Park Hotel on Post St. is a good value priced property. With
my mom and brother in tow, we got a room for only $115 a night.
The location is perfect! Everything is within walking distance.
For book lovers, Borders is right on the corner. The hotel
has continental breakfast served on every floor. The complimentary
tea/sherry and cookies from 4-6pm everyday is a definite pleaser.

They also
have a 24-hour self-service coffee and juice counter on the 9th
floor, and it's free. The rooms are clean and above average in firnishings,
with twice-daily maid service to make sure that everything is pleasant
to the eyes. Nighttime turn-overs include two chocolates in
the shape of bumble bees (what a hoot!) and flowers. The hotel
has a friendly staff and well-decorated lobby. I wouldn't
mind staying in the same place on my next trip to San Francisco.
Our trip to San Francisco was unquestionably charming and wonderful!
