The Mosser's 166 guestrooms fuse Victorian touches with sleek sophistication. This Union Square hotel offers a little funk and spunk with its renovation and low prices.  Combining an artistic vibe with a central location, The Mosser is the only hotel in San Francisco to host a recording studio.

Centrally located for easy access to the Moscone Convention Center, shopping, and Bay Area attractions, the hotel's staff is committed to serving guests.

All rooms feature AM/FM Stereos with CD player, alarm clocks, ceiling fans, direct dial phones with dataports and voicemail. Irons with boards, 100% cotton robes and hair dryers are also included. Rooms have custom made platform beds, wooden Venetian blinds and marble bathrooms. Double/ Double paned windows ensure a restful nights sleep.

M.B. writes in September 2001, "We stayed at the Mosser Victorian for one night. Be sure that you understand what kind of room you're going to get. I don't think my husband actually realized we would be sharing bathroom facilities with others. Although this wasn't as bad as I first thought, the room itself was not comfortable for 2 people. Extremely small and cramped.  The shower drained VERY slowly, but the towels and robe were very nice.  Valet parking was $23.00"

Todd writes in August 2001, "We had a delightful time at the Mosser Victorian.  We did have a renovated room. The staff was very helpful in giving us directions and couldn't have been more friendly. "

Jayne writes in July 2001, "We have stayed at the Victorian, and sometimes lived there for extended periods of time, for years. We find it very European, very charming, and in an excellent location. It is NOT a luxury hotel, nor is it a soulless American chain hotel, but it is very homey and affordable, for which reason we will continue to stay there. If you aren't looking for the homogenized American "Holiday Inn" style, but rather something historic and more characteristic of the San Francisco experience, we recommend the Victorian without reservation. "
