SFO Airport Shuttles Take you Anywhere...

There are many van services which leave from the airport for about $15 per person and will take you directly to your hotel. The van services congregate in a group on the airport's second level-- one floor above the baggage claim at San Francisco International Airport (SFO). The van "barkers" represent the first chance to attract unsuspecting, confused, tired, and sometimes foreign speaking travelers. A van "barker's" #1 goal is to get you into their van a.s.a.p. and your luggage in the secured back of the van. Once in the van, you are stuck waiting for the van to leave and are under the driver's control.

Once your group grows to 4 or more people, a smaller limousine (Towncar) may be more comfortable and cost about the same as a van shuttle.  Our consumer guide to San Francsico airport limousine services gives you all the details (prices, options, types of vehicles).

Airport Shuttle Vans:

Here are all of the airport's van services. None are worth calling for pickup at the airport, but you can have them pick you up at ANY S.F. address for their normal charge. All phone numbers are 415 area code. All the prices are about the same, but make sure you know the price before you leave the curb. The driver will expect a $2-$3 tip per person.   Please note that none of the services listed below are specifically known for any problem customer practices.  They are listed as a compilation of airport van services.  Use the advice in this article and your better judgment when dealing with airport van companies.
